Getting back to Work

It seems like everything is a distraction. Distraction of my own doing I after admit. I just started to feel 
comfortable painting again. I’ve started to work on some larger panels and feel I should finish something by the end of this week on early next week.
I love to see a beautiful neutral background, it lets all the different hues in the face really jump out. I like John Currin’s paintings for that as well, always a soft pastel background.
