Creating ways to Sell Art part #2

with 2 comments

Setting up the new website pages is a little time consuming for me. I should have something up by Monday night. I’ve been looking around at what other people are doing, and “A Painting a Day” has many followers. Some wonderful work. Check links here for Luis Colan, Silver Fortress, Painting in Oil and State of the Art.

In addition to trying to move my works on paper, I am pushing for a second gallery, California or one of the Carolina’s, to handle my paintings. For some unknown reason, I’ve always been concerned with not having enough work to show. I’m also thinking about making prints of some of my older paintings. I am open to any ideas/thoughts.

  1. Painting-a-day has fundamentally changed the way some artists make arts, and the way a growing number of people think about collecting art (I really think including those who wouldn’t have done it before). Duane Keiser has some interesting thoughts about this on his new blog.

  2. Thanks Jeff for the lead on Duane Keiser new blog. I’ve gotten some new insight on how to think about doing a painting everyday. I’ve noticed that I had regulated “PAD” to “I will do one if I’m not working on something else”.
