  1. Wow Bob, this paiting is a joy to look at…I just love all the rich tones in the skin and the great contrasts of the warm earth tones against the violet.

    As always it is very good to see this painting. I loved the effect of the light on his forehead, cheekbones and chin. It is beautiful. For some reason I like your portraiture than the others… It is a personal bias.

    I love faces and get a charge when I am painting them. I very rearly get the same feeling when other subjects, but I am learning. Thanks for your appreciations.
