War is not a unique thing. There is always a war going and there are always faces that show universal despair.

This is not a poliical statement but war is just dumb.

Of course I don’t think I do anything special, but I would be happy to work with. Can I reach you on Skpe?

Thanks, are you still in the states? I commented on one of your post how I missed being able to stroll down to the ASL. Stay well and enjoy.

  4. Bob,

I do call people’s telephones on skype, for example, to talk with my mother in Germany.

At the moment, I am bogged down cleaning out my ‘science stable’. All I have time for is photography.

I will take you up on your kind offer. Perhaps, I can even visit you in NYC? My husband works at Columbia University. However, I don’t even fly to NYC a lot right now, trying to finish up years of ‘science entrepreneurship’.

    Love, B

  7. Welcome home Ujwala. I’ve been so tied down with all that’s going on in the world that my painting production has slowed to a crawl. Your coming back to this series of paintings awakens my love of painting and for the moment I’ve stop concerning myself with the depression news that surrounds us.

  8. Wow! I loved seeing the beauty and compassion in this painting (and reading about yours). It was great seeing the steps as the rich color appears. I know it’s hard not to let the state of things in the world get you down but sometimes just creating a little beauty and sharing it provides just the healing that’s needed.

  9. Jana, what a great observation. Thank you so much. I have a habit of focusing on the wrong stuff sometimes.
