Bob, I definitely see your influences reflected in your work, but not in a copycat way. Your appreciation for those artists is apparent in your subject matter and style, but your style is all your own. Beautfiul painting of a strong, loving woman.

Thanks Peggi, In addition to talking about artist work who I feel have influenced me I will be also doing some one on one interviews with artist whose work and point of view I appreciate. I hope to ask questions that are not usually asked and get insightful responses. Stay tuned.

I see qualities in all three that are definitely visible in your work, especially Diebenkorn. Lovely painting!

What is the most interesting here is that fact that the little man … just like in Paula Rego’s little adult people who makes the adult size people look so vunerable. So psychological!

Ambera, thanks. I would to be able to see and paint like Diebenkorn. His resolution are so simple and clear of voice.
